OK so what is going on, the 24v vr6 is 10.5:1 in vw cars correct? and its 10.0:1 in the eurovan correct. Now I hear it is 10.75 in vw cars, but i have also found someowhere they said its 10.75 in the eurovan. Can someone clear this up, and while we are on the topic of compression, the r32 is i think 11.3:1 ratio, or somwhere around there. So tried the compression test with and without oil. Still only have compression in 2 out of 6 cylinders. Without the oil added i got 180 PSI in each. With oil it went to 200 PSI. I'm going to take everything apart again and double check the timing. Will probably take off the top timing cover for another look too.
